Headbands do have a strange requirement for ordering: the circumference of the area of your head. These actually wrap around your head and both ends are tied together. It is much like an oversized friendship bracelet, except made of yarn.

I mentioned a while back that I was planning a promotion in the store based on Pottermore, so here it is!

As those of you who have gotten in to Pottermore know, we get sorted. If you send me your username (#s aren’t necessary), in a message only please, (to keep more privacy), I will add you to my friends (if you don’t want me to, just let me know). Once I have that message, I will privately message you a 25% off coupon for a house keychain and house robe phone cozy combo! If you have previously purchased either of these separately, I will give you a coupon for 15% off the other to complete your set.

I also will do special house key chains for those of you who did not get into the house you’ve grown up believing you’d be in. One side will be the house you were sorted into and the other side will be the house you wanted. As some of you know, I have been working on trying to make a DIY pattern with instructions for the Warbler cozy to sell in the shop. I’ve been pretty swamped with school and work to do much of anything lately, but I finally wrote up some very detailed instructions last night. Very soon I should have the pattern up and ready with pictures of progress included.

This also means I have finally found some time to get back to working on the Warbler request list. It is still not open to new additions, but I’m just letting those who are on the list know that I have not forgotten about you and I am still working on them.

There have been some price changes. Double cap earrings have gone down from $10 to $7.50, painted bottle cap key chains have gone down from $6.50 to $5 & painted bottle cap pins have gone down from $6 to $4.50. I messaged everyone on the Warbler list about 2 weeks ago to make sure they still wanted to be on the list and got nothing back. After making the post yesterday about not getting responses, I found out some were saying they never got the message in the first place. I apologize for whatever kept the message from you guys and I will be sending it out, once again, to those who have still not contacted me. Thanks to those of you who did respond and alerted me to this error :)

First and foremost, I have not heard back from anybody on the Warbler Cozy list. If you were on the list and are still interested in getting what you have requested, please contact me asap or else I am just no longer going to be making them. I have found them to be too time consuming to make as stock.

Second, I was in my first craft show/faire yesterday. It was kind of a bust because there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic and there was a bigger event going on downtown so the whole faire was kind of neglected. Also, it was about 100 degrees so that didn’t help, although I was inside in the air conditioned frozen yogurt shop. 

What this also means is that I have a handful of new things to post in the shop, plus I’m working on a new site and more new items that aren’t quite finished.

Sorry for such a long delay, but I’ve been out enjoying my summer and haven’t been on my computer for the past 2-3 weeks. I know I’m late on announcing the winners of the giveaway but the winners have been chosen through Random.org and they are Melissa (@Wrailyn on twitter) and Jennifer (jellyyfish on tumblr)! Both winners will be contacted by email with further details.

As for an update on the Warbler Phone Cozies. They will no longer be posted to my Etsy shop. Since I have not had time to make other things for the shop, the fees to post them there on top of the Paypal fees just seems pointless. Instead, they will be done directly through paypal and emails. I will still notify you of its completion by answering the ask left in my box and also by notifying you in your ask box. I apologize for my delay in getting more done as I have not been home very much of the past month. To also help with the current request list, I will be contacting everyone still on the list to make sure they are still interested in getting a cozy. I also must remind everyone that the request list has been closed until further notice, so only those already on the list are able to still get them. I thank you again for your patience and hopefully, your understanding. It always amazes me when anyone is interested in the things I love to make, so thank you.

As a reminder on how the process works: As they get posted to my Etsy as your listings, I will be using the messages you left in my ask box to notify you of the link. I will also notify you in your ask box, as well. Once purchased, they will be mailed out within 2 USPS business days (usually it’s only 1, but I’m saying 2 just in case). They are mailed out in First Class bubble mailers unless priority shipping was requested. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask. :)

To clarify, these take me a while to make. I’ve been working on them during most of my free time, but between school and work, it does get difficult. Luckily, school is finished for the semester so that should free up some time. Please have some patience, not that anyone hasn’t, but just to be sure that you are aware as part of this list. If you would like to be removed from the request list due to the time issue, I completely respect that and just be sure to let me know. I love that you all have shown such interest in something that I truly enjoy making and I hope that you all love the completed pieces.

Important announcement: I’d also like to announce that all requests are officially closed once this list completes. After this list is complete, it will only continue to be offered to the actual Warblers as memorabilia. I love you all, but I would like to work on separate projects and feel that if I do that now, I am only taking time away from getting these done for all of you.
